From Education to Product Design: I spent a decade in education,
but looking back, I was always a designer…
For most of my career, I designed learning, not screens.
At TAL Education — one of the largest education companies in China — my real work was understanding students and teachers and shaping experiences around them.

Sitting in those conversations, translating messy classroom realities into product decisions, I noticed two things.
I loved the process of brainstorming solutions to human problems AND I had a real instinct for empathizing with users and cutting through complexity until a product felt clear.
Synthesizing user research insights
What began as a pandemic pivot turned into a calling. I no longer wanted to just inform the design — I wanted to create it.
That's how I found UX: the place where a decade of understanding people meets the craft of building products that genuinely serve them.

🍳 Necessity is the mother of... my cooking
I never knew how to cook until I had a baby. Started with baby food, now I can fill a whole dinner table.
🧘 Pilates over painkillers
I started Pilates to fix back pain. I'm currently working on advanced moves, more importantly, how to look effortless while doing them :)

My latest obsession since moving here is learning French. It's a journey, but who knows? Next year I might be presenting my work with my third language!
My spare time is also filled with:
🤝 Making friends (and playmates for my kiddo)

🍩 Hunting for great donuts (it's a serious commitment!)
