Goal of the project:

"AI + Me" is a learning resource designed to help learners explore key concepts of Artificial Intelligence (AI), as well as assist teachers in delivering AI lessons. Given the growing popularity of AI courses, these materials are ideally suited for use in a self-directed online course. My goal is to transform these materials into an interactive and comprehensive online learning experience, making AI accessible to a wider audience and empowering learners to study at their own pace.

I.Collet previous feedback on the materials:

The first thing I did with this redesign project is to ask for the feedback that has been collected from paster users(students & teachers). I managed to collect 103 responses and did analysis on the data.

II. Analyze the data & propose framework for each module

The findings from affinity mapping are:

Pros: 89% of the users rated positively to the course and the think the content is short and digestible. They also like the examples that are incorporated to help understanding.

Cons: The cons focuses on some repetitive design in the course and course design is a bit boring to some users.

Based on the feedback, I have redesigned the framework for each module to make it more structured and engaging for users.

Lead-in: Each module will begin with a lead-in game that introduces a key AI concept in an interactive way.
Input: After playing the game, users will proceed to a session where the concepts are explained and explicitly summarized.
Test-out: The module will conclude with a test, allowing users to assess their understanding of the material and gauge their progress. This structure ensures that learning is both informative and enjoyable, providing a balance of theory, application, and assessment.
